Refund, Cancellation & Booking Policy

Thank you for choosing A Bold Beauty Cosmetic Clinic. We are committed to providing exceptional service and ensuring every appointment is reserved exclusively for you. Please read our booking and cancellation policy carefully before making your appointment.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

To ensure fairness to all clients and allow sufficient time for appointment scheduling, we kindly request a minimum of 48 hours' notice for any appointment cancellation or rescheduling.

If you cancel, reschedule, or fail to attend your appointment with less than 48 hours' notice, A Bold Beauty Cosmetic Clinic reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee. At our discretion, we may:

  1. Retain your booking deposit.

  2. Deduct one prepaid treatment from your treatment package.

  3. Charge 50% of the standard treatment price.

Clients who fail to attend their appointment without notice ("No Show") will also be subject to the above policy.

Deposits

A $50 booking deposit is required for selected cosmetic, laser, and aesthetic treatments.

Your deposit will:

  • Secure your appointment.

  • Be credited towards your treatment on the day.

  • Remain valid for 6 months from the date of payment.

The deposit is fully refundable if your appointment is cancelled or rescheduled with at least 48 hours' notice.

Deposits will be forfeited for:

  • Late cancellations (less than 48 hours)

  • No-shows

  • Missed appointments

Refund Policy

At A Bold Beauty Cosmetic Clinic, we do not provide refunds for change of mind.

Refunds will only be considered where required under the Australian Consumer Law.

We may also provide a refund at our discretion if:

  • A treatment is assessed as unsuitable for your skin or medical condition.

  • A service cannot safely be performed.

  • A treatment has been purchased in error and has not been used.

Products that have been opened or used cannot be refunded unless required by law.

Prepaid Treatment Packages

Clients who purchase prepaid treatment packages receive discounted pricing.

Please note:

  • Packages containing less than 10 treatments expire 12 months from the purchase date.

  • Packages containing 10 or more treatments expire 18 months from the purchase date.

  • Expired treatments cannot be redeemed or refunded.

Prepaid packages are non-refundable except where required under Australian Consumer Law.

Suspension of Treatment Packages

In special circumstances, prepaid treatment packages may be temporarily suspended.

Suspension may be granted:

  • For certain medical conditions.

  • Due to unforeseen circumstances approved by management.

Conditions:

  • Maximum suspension period: 12 months

  • One suspension per package.

  • Medical documentation may be required.

  • Remaining treatment validity will continue from where it stopped once the package is reactivated.

Transfer Policy

Appointments, prepaid treatments, and treatment packages:

  • Cannot be transferred to another person.

  • Cannot be exchanged for another treatment area unless approved by management.

  • Cannot be transferred between clinic locations where applicable.

Treatment Suitability

Your safety is our highest priority.

Before treatment, a consultation will be completed to assess your suitability.

Some services may not be appropriate due to:

  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding

  • Medical conditions

  • Skin conditions

  • Medications

  • Recent cosmetic procedures

  • Other contraindications

If a treatment is deemed unsuitable, we will recommend an alternative treatment where possible.

Client Responsibilities

To help us achieve the best possible results, clients agree to:

  • Provide complete and accurate medical information.

  • Inform us of any medications or health changes.

  • Follow all pre-treatment and aftercare instructions.

  • Attend appointments on time.

  • Have realistic expectations regarding treatment outcomes.

Failure to disclose relevant medical information may affect treatment results and safety.

Late Arrival Policy

Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may need to:

  • Shorten their treatment.

  • Reschedule their appointment.

  • Pay the applicable cancellation fee if insufficient time remains to complete the service safely.

Results Disclaimer

Individual treatment results vary depending on:

  • Skin type

  • Lifestyle

  • Medical history

  • Age

  • Home care

  • Compliance with aftercare instructions

While we strive to achieve excellent outcomes, results cannot be guaranteed.
