What to Expect
Laser Hair Removal uses advanced laser technology to safely target hair follicles, reducing unwanted hair growth while leaving the surrounding skin unharmed. With each session, hair becomes finer, lighter, and less noticeable.
• Sensation: Most clients experience a mild warming or snapping sensation, similar to the flick of a rubber band. Treatment is generally well tolerated, and our cooling technology helps maximise comfort.
• Treatment Time: Sessions typically take 15–90 minutes, depending on the size and number of treatment areas.
• Downtime: There is little to no downtime. Mild redness or slight swelling around the hair follicles is normal and usually disappears within a few hours.
• Results: Hair reduction becomes noticeable after 2–3 sessions. For optimal, long-lasting results, we recommend 6–10 treatments, spaced 4–6 weeks apart, depending on your skin type, hair colour, and treatment area.
Aftercare Instructions
To achieve the safest and most effective results, please follow these guidelines before your appointment:
- Shave the treatment area 24 hours before your appointment. Do not wax, pluck, thread, or use hair removal creams before treatment.
- Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning for at least 2 weeks before treatment.
- Remove all fake tan from the treatment area 24 hours prior to your appointment.
- Arrive with clean skin free from moisturisers, oils, deodorants, makeup, perfumes, or sunscreen on the treatment area.
- Inform your therapist if you are taking medications that may increase light sensitivity.
- We cannot perform laser treatment over tattoos, permanent makeup, or suspicious skin lesions.
- A consultation and patch test are required before your first laser treatment.
- Please advise us if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have any medical conditions that may affect treatment suitability.

Days 1–5
- Keep the treated area clean and dry.
- Apply a soothing aloe vera gel or post-laser cream as recommended.
- Wear SPF 50+ daily on exposed areas.
- Avoid hot showers, saunas, swimming, and intense exercise for 24–48 hours.
- Avoid exfoliating products, retinol, and active skincare ingredients.
- Wear loose-fitting clothing if the body has been treated.
From Day 7 Onwards
- Gently exfoliate the treated area 2–3 times per week to help prevent ingrown hairs.
- Continue applying SPF 50+ daily.
- Shaving is allowed between treatments. Do not wax, pluck, or thread.
Important: Mild redness and slight swelling are normal and usually settle within a few hours. Hair shedding typically begins 7–21 days after treatment. For the best results, complete your recommended treatment plan.
